Pro/ENGINEER is a parametric solid modelling program produced by PTC, used primarily within mechanical engineering disciplines to design components for production. Pro/MECHANICA is an extension of Pro/ENGINEER itself and is used to model these products in as close to "real world" situations as possible, including motion analysis, structural behaviour and thermal distributions.
Pro/ENGINEER is, for some, not a very intuitive or easy to use program. It was primarily used during my engineering course at university, but the complexities of the program require quite a lot of dedication to overcome. I have not personally used Pro/ENGINEER that much besides a simple load cell design (the main body of the load cell will be included among these pages) and a basic pressure vessel.
Here I present some of my efforts in using Pro/ENGINEER, specifically the 2001 Student Edition. The pages will be updated depending on how much time I find to use Pro/ENGINEER and develop skills through tutorials.
